Propagate Vallisneria:
Vallisneria propagates from runners in the aquarium or pond that produces roots, & develops into a new plant. Do not remove runners from the Vallisneria, until the development of the leaves is finished. Separate runners from the main plant, & plant them in the aquarium or pond. It takes up to four weeks for the new plant to adjust to the new setting.
Vallisneria rarely develops from seed in the aquarium; however, it can grow in ponds from seed. If you want to grow Vallisneria in your aquarium, then do not use seeds instead use runners.
Many aquarium fish eat or uproot plants. Therefore, Vallisneria is one of the best plants for them.

How to grow Vallisneria plant in aquarium or pond?
Vallisneria grows easily in fish tanks or ponds because they need low requirements. They want bright lights but can grow in moderate light conditions. CO2 is not needed for Vallisneria as it develops in shallow water having low carbon dioxide. For best growth, nutrients are required but if you have fish in the tank, then Vallisneria will absorb their waste.
Buy Vallisneria from a shop, & add it to a netted pot. Add substrate to the pot to save the plant from receiving damage. Gently add the plant to the pot, & make sure it is in the middle of the pot before filling the pot with substrate. It is recommended to select a big-netted pot as Tape grass grows quickly.
Wash the pot gently with clean water to remove debris from the substrate. Add pot at the aquarium bed & make sure it is fully immersed in water. Add dechlorinated water to the aquarium. Turn on the aquarium filter, & have fun.
