eat an omnivorous diet including vegetables & meat. Their life span is

bottom dwellers, which means they dig the substrate. So, adding Java Fern &
Java Moss is a good option because they don’t require gravels & you can
attach them to driftwood, rocks or structures.
Frequent partial water changes
are required to keep nitrates level low. Also, you need a quality filter &
make sure you have pre-cycled your tank before adding any fish to it. After the
nitrogen cycle completes, your filter will be growing heaps of beneficial
bacteria. Live plants can absorb nitrates & keep their levels low. If your
water quality is low then it will affect your fish. Rams get sick in poor water
conditions. Good news is that German Blue Ram Fish can tolerate a wide range of
pH but they like soft water.
