Below video tutorial shows how to grow watercress in a pond:
Step 1:
Purchase the watercress plant
from a grocery store. Take watercress out of the plastic bag, & cut many
stems.
Step 2:
Cut a styrofoam piece in round & pierce a hole in the middle of the foam.
Step 3:
Step 4:
Put the pot on the surface of the
aquarium or pond water, & it will float on the water. Netted pot is a good
choice for watercress plants, as it will help the plant suck nutrients using
its roots.
Step 5:
Watercress gets bigger fast &
soon you will need a bigger pot. Make sure you have enough space in the pot to
allow watercress to get thicker. When my watercress plant got bigger, then I
decided to put it in a larger pot, & I used canna clay pebbles substrate. I
wiped out dirt from the pebbles by washing it with clean water.
Step 6:
I shifted the watercress plant to a new pot. Canna clay pebbles help watercress in growth.
