Top Decorated Aquarium and Fish Bowl 4K HD Wallpapers:
Most of the new aquarists want to have a marine aquarium because they think that marine fish are brightly coloured, beautiful fish. However, you can make an amazing fish tank by adding rarest, amazing & hardy freshwater fish. Freshwater fish are available at lower cost & they are harder than marine fish. They do not quickly catch diseases, & you can easily take care of them.
Below, I have added wallpapers of my large aquarium. One of the aquariums is designed for Oscar fish. It has driftwood, rocks & plants that can be watched in the wallpaper. Also, have a look at another fish tank.
If you want to have a small tank, then consider keeping a fish bowl that looks more beautiful than an aquarium because fish can be seen from every side. Setting up a fish bowl is very similar to setting up a fish tank. Below, I have added wallpapers of two 15 gallons fish bowls. I added substrate to both fish bowls, & anchored plants in the substrate. Plants are growing in the fish bowls for 6 months.
How to Setup an Aquarium for Freshwater Fish?
After deciding which freshwater fish you want to have in your fish tank, it is important to decide which aquarium size you need for your freshwater fish. Most of the small freshwater fish can happily live in a small tank that contains 20 gallons of water. However, for keeping medium & large fish, you will need a larger aquarium. Every fish has its own requirements such as ideal temperature, pH, water hardness, tank lights, compatible tank mates, compatible plants, etc. it is important to do a thorough research before buying a new fish. For a community aquarium, it is important to have peaceful fish having the same sizes. Goldfish is a peaceful fish but it will eat anything that fits in its mouth. Many hobbyists buy different juveniles of fish & do not think about their future sizes. When they grow, some small fish remain little while others become large so your larger fish can eat the smaller ones in the future. Therefore, do research about their mature sizes before buying juveniles.
It is recommended to setup a filter in your fish tank. The specifications of the filter will depend on the size of the aquarium, number of fish in the tank, the amount of food you offer & other factors. Add substrate, plants & decorations depending on the fish you are keeping. Do not add small substrate such as sands in the Goldfish aquarium because they swallow anything that fits in their mouth. Also, avoid adding sharp substrate or sharp rocks as they might scratch your fish.
