Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon
This is an easy recipe, but very delicious.... You will need to purchase a cedar plank. There are many places you can purchase a plank, below are some of the places I have found.. Or you can go to your local wood store; Home Depot, Lowe's & etc.. and buy a cedar wood board and cut to length.. I find this to be a bit cheaper.

Dry Rub seasoning:  2 teaspoon granulated garlic
                              2 teaspoon pepper
                              1 tablespoon salt
                             1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
                             1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
                             1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Mix ingredients in small bowl, you can use a food processor to grind up the spices for a better taste.
To start -
1. Soak your cedar plank board in water for about 2 hours.
2. Using the dry rub seasoning, season both sides of the fillet (even the skin side). Depending on the size of the    fillets, you may not use all of your dry rub seasoning.
3. Refrigerate the salmon for an hour or so.. until the planks are good and soaked.
4. Place the salmon on the planks, skin side down!
5. Turn your grill on medium, when to temperature place salmon planks & salmon on grill. Close the lid.
6. Watch closely, the wood planks could catch on fire if not soaked good enough. YOu will hear some crackling sounds and lots of smoke will be visible (This is normal). keep the lid closed, the smoke adds to the flavoring. Depending on the size and thickness of the fillets, they should take about 10 min to cook. Remove the salmon when the salmon reaches 1250F, unless your like me and like it a bit rare inside, Ill take it off a bit earlier.. BECAREFULL: DON'T OVERCOOK - Salmon has a tendency to dry out fast when over cooked.
