Clam Chowder Recipes
        My Mom's homemade Clam Chowder
        Potatoes - Peeled & Cubed
      Celery - Washed & Sliced
      1 large sweet onion, Diced
      1 cup chopped clams (Fresh razor clams preferred, use the neck of the clams)
      1 Tbl butter
      Salt & Pepper
      8 Cups Milk (2%)
      3/4 Cup flour
      1 Cup Cream Cheese (optional)
 
      Cook Potatoes, celery, water & clam juice with Salt & Pepper until very tender.
      In large pan, mix butter & cook unions until tender. Mix milk & flour to onions & heat
      until boiling. Add potatoes, celery. Mix & add clams. For richer soup use more butter
      & cream cheese. Season with more Salt & Pepper to taste.
      Makes enough to fill a few stomachs and have some left overs.. mmmmmmmmmmm.
