2008 in review - King fishing was pathetic! Our favorite spot, the "Deska" was shut down early
due to a poor return. Other rivers around South Central Alaska experienced the same. The reds were
plentiful as always, the Kenai peninsula got a healthy first run & and an so-so second run. We had some
good days on the Russian & Kenai river for reds as well as a great day dipnetting on the copper river.
Silvers came in early and provided some great fishing on our favorite river for Silvers, the "Lil Su".
Ocean fishing was great as always, we reel'd in some hefty halibut in Homer this year, and got the usual
chickens out of Seward, as well as rockfish, ling cod & salmon.
